Having served 8 years on the county commission and 16 years as State Senator, Bill Ketron knows Rutherford County and is uniquely qualified to face the challenges of growth.

About Bill

Small Business Owner

Bill Ketron owns a 3rd generation small insurance business in Murfreesboro since 1969, as well as owned a convenience store in Smyrna.

Rutherford County Raised

Bill Ketron grew up in Rutherford County and graduated from Central High School in Murfreesboro before attending MTSU.

Family Values

In 2018, Bill Ketron and his wife Theresa celebrate 35 years of marriage. They have one daughter, Kelsey, and the family are members of First United Methodist Church in Murfreesboro.

Experienced in Getting Things Done

As a State Senator, Bill Ketron has passed legislation that put physical education back in our children’s school curriculum, provided funding and support for MTSU’s science building, and allowed for wine sales in grocery stores.
